Confirmation

On December 14, 2008 Leonard and Matthew will be part of a covenant signing ceremony at the 5:00 o'clock mass as part of their confirmation. Their sponsors will be there and if anyone else wishes to come you are welcome to help them celebrate this important part of their walk of faith to confirmation.

Thanksgiving

We want to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving!! Miguel, Leonard, Matthew and I will not be going to S.A. this year for Thanksgiving because we all have to work. I have to work both Wendsday and Thursday and the guys have to work black friday. Cassie and Brendan will be going to their Gandma and Grandpa Silva's for the weekend. We will see you all Christmas.

Caryl's New Ride.

She is now part of the elite mini-van society. We are now a three car family. Please send donations for Leonard and Matt's driving funds. For the roads of Texas will never be the same.

Confirmation and First Communion

Leonard and Matthew will be Confirmed and Brendan will be making his first Communion next year. I hope to have them make these sacraments at the same time so everyone can come to help them celebrate these milestone of their faith. Leonard has asked Brandon to be his sponsor because he is someone he looks up to. Matthew has asked his Godfather Jay to be his sponsor. Please keep them in your prayers as they make these journeys of Catholic their faith.

Cassie and UIL

Little misunderstanding but Cassie will not be doing UIL this year. I thought she had made the UIL listening team but as you can see she did not. Maybe next year. She is still on the DI team and that will be taking up a lot of her time. Wish her good luck with that the next time you see or talk with her.

We are now bloggers now too and I hope to update as often as I can so keep an eye out for things to come.

Principal's List

Leonard(Tony for Aunt Lynda), Matthew, Cassie, and Brendan all made the Principal's list this six weeks. That means they all have an average grade of 85 or better. Their Dad and I are very proud of all of them.

Cassie is once again in the spot light

Cassie is going to be apart of the La Danza for Our Lady of Guadalupe on Dec. 12, 2008 at the 6:00pm mass at Notre Dame. She is also going to be in Destination Imagination and UIL listening.
